Team Lead, Accounting Specialists is responsible for day-to-day leadership, coaching, and operational oversight of a team of Accounting Specialists. The role ensures schedules are clean, reconciled, and maintained in accordance with WarrCloud standards, supports dealer onboarding, resolves escalations, and partners with internal teams to uphold accuracy and consistency. The Team Lead maintains light schedule coverage and serves as the first escalation point for the team. Key responsibilities include overseeing specialists and assigned dealers, conducting regular 1:1 meetings focused on performance, capacity, and development, monitoring schedule compliance and reconciliation progress, ensuring posting of credit memos, JV processes, timelines, and backlog cleanup, enforcing accounting policies, SOPs, and best practices, and collaborating with Lead Admins and Customer Success teams to improve schedule hygiene and resolve issues. The role also partners with Service Delivery OEM Lead Warranty Specialists, the Training Team and Director to onboard new Accounting Specialists and to implement tools and process improvements. Training and development duties include coordinating and delivering training on WarrSchedule, OEM-specific procedures, and DMS workflows, and contributing to the Accounting Resource Center.
