Staff Accountant II is responsible for all accounting related to terminals within the assigned region(s). Primary duties include reviewing and preparing invoices, supporting schedules, journal entries, and general ledger reconciliations; preparing monthly terminal margin reports; monitoring gain/loss volumes for reporting and settlement; and assisting with month-end inventory statements in collaboration with Operations and Business Development. Responsibilities also include monitoring regional contracts for new agreements, amendments, terminations and annual escalations with support from the Senior Accountant; designing and delivering training for outsourced agents; recording monthly journal entries for revenues, cost of goods sold, and variable expenses; performing reconciliations under ASC 606 and ASC 842; completing monthly account reconciliations; assisting in response to internal and external audit requests; and ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley controls. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration; 2–4 years of professional accounting experience; experience in Oil and Gas or Manufacturing is preferred; SAP experience is a plus. Strong accounting knowledge, independent work style, excellent communication, organizational and analytical skills, confidentiality, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to multi-task under deadlines are required. Work environment and schedule: Hybrid work arrangement with in-office days Tuesday–Thursday at the Denver, Colorado site. Compensation: Hiring range $82,897–$86,000 annually (DOE). Note:
