J.P. Morgan Personal Investing is seeking a Front End Web Engineer at Software Engineer III level to join the team responsible for the web applications powering Nutmeg. You will deliver end-to-end product features within a cross-functional team of engineers and product managers. The team maintains a unified web tech stack, mono-repositories, and an internal React design system to enable scalable delivery. You will collaborate with engineers and product partners and participate in various forums, including team discussions, guilds, and pairing sessions, to build great, user-friendly experiences for our customers.

Responsibilities include developing and delivering product features as part of larger domain-owned epic initiatives; identifying and troubleshooting defects; ensuring high-quality code through testing and adherence to best practices; working with cross-functional teams; participating in code reviews; creating and maintaining technical documentation; building domain understanding; actively participating in Scrum ceremonies; and considering accessibility (WCAG), security, observability, and performance in all owned applications and deliverables.
