Speechify is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Data Infrastructure & Acquisition team. This role focuses on data collection and ingestion to support model training, building high-quality datasets at petabyte scale, and expanding the cloud infrastructure for ingestion pipelines (GCP, Terraform). You will source new audio data, bring it into our ingestion pipeline, and collaborate with scientists to improve cost, throughput, and quality as we scale to power next-generation models. The ideal candidate has a BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or a related field, 5+ years of software development experience, proficiency with Bash and Python in Linux environments, and experience with Docker and Infrastructure-as-Code, plus experience with a major cloud provider (we use GCP). Experience with web crawlers and large-scale data processing is a plus.
