Speechify is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Data side of our AI team. The role covers all aspects of data collection to support model training, enabling high-quality datasets at scale through a tight integration of infrastructure, engineering, and research. You will build and operate data ingestion pipelines, extend cloud infrastructure for ingestion (currently on GCP and managed with Terraform), and collaborate with scientists to optimize cost, throughput, and data quality to power next-generation models. You will work with the AI Team and Speechify leadership to define the dataset roadmap supporting both consumer and enterprise products. Qualifications include a BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or a related field, 5+ years of software development experience, proficiency with Bash/Python in Linux environments, Docker and Infrastructure-as-Code experience, and experience with at least one major cloud provider (GCP). Experience with web crawlers and large-scale data processing is a plus; strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
