Speechify is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Data Infrastructure & Acquisition team. The role covers all aspects of data collection to support model training, building data pipelines and scaling data pipelines by integrating infrastructure, engineering, and research. You will be responsible for data ingestion and extending the cloud infrastructure for the ingestion pipeline, currently on Google Cloud Platform and managed with Terraform. Collaborate with AI scientists to improve data quality, throughput, and cost, and help define the dataset roadmap for Speechify’s next-generation products. Ideal candidates have a CS-related degree, 5+ years of software development experience, proficiency with Bash and Python in Linux, Docker and Infrastructure-as-Code, and experience with at least one major cloud provider (GCP). Experience with web crawlers and large-scale data processing is a plus.
