Stripe is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Authorization Infrastructure team. You will build and maintain reliable, performant, and scalable authorization infrastructure, including libraries, frameworks, and services. You will develop a deep understanding of the authorization needs of product and infrastructure teams and deliver comprehensive, easy-to-use, policy-driven authorization solutions. You will collaborate with users to adopt these solutions to protect resources, while providing a great user experience and improving access observability. You will also implement access visibility and continuous policy governance to help resource owners, legal, and compliance manage the risk of inappropriate access.
What you’ll need: - 2-5 years of professional software development experience - Experience in the security domain - A curious, learning mindset and strong collaboration skills - Excellent communication and the ability to work cross-functionally - Ability to drive clear next steps in ambiguous situations - Creative, holistic thinking and a preference for simple, scalable designs - High standards for code quality and a constructive attitude to help others raise the bar Preferred qualifications: - Experience in the authorization domain - Proficiency with Go, Java, or Ruby
