About the role
Sumex AG, founded in 2019, is a leading provider of ERP and claims management software for the Swiss healthcare sector. Based in Zurich, we are expanding our team with a Software Engineer to actively develop innovative software solutions. You will work closely with experienced colleagues and with our domain and technical specialists, supporting the full software development lifecycle from the initial idea to production deployment.
Responsibilities
What we offer:
- Develop and enhance sophisticated Java applications and systems as part of our product development teams
- Analyze, design, and optimize software solutions in close collaboration with Product Management
- Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle—from requirements analysis and design through implementation and testing to maintenance
- Support our customers and Professional Services teams with new requests, incidents, and service inquiries
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high quality and smooth integration
- Perform code reviews and share knowledge within the team
- Apply modern agile methods and tools for efficient software development
