You will design modular and reusable architectures, applying hexagonal architecture and domain-driven design (DDD) to organize code into application, domain, and infrastructure layers. You will manage real-time communication via sockets to deliver timely responses, and you will integrate and consume RESTful APIs using Express, structuring backend services to expose clean endpoints for the frontend. You will work with both relational and non-relational databases, performing CRUD operations through Express controllers and connecting to MongoDB or PostgreSQL via Mongoose or similar tools to ensure data persistence and consistency. You will write integration and end-to-end tests with Mocha, Chai, or Jest, and develop unit tests to validate business logic for controllers and services.
