We are looking for a Software Architect to shape the architecture of our SaaS platform as we build new functionality and improve existing systems within Axon Product Development. If you enjoy making technical decisions, guiding engineers and working in an agile team, we’d like to meet you.

Key responsibilities: - Define the technical direction of our software and help teams translate complex business needs into sustainable solutions. - Collaborate with software engineers, product owners, business analysts, test engineers and fellow architects to ensure architectural decisions support customer needs and the long-term evolution of the Axon platform. - Take ownership of the architectural integrity of key product areas, analyze dependencies and risks, and guide teams toward scalable, secure, maintainable solutions. - Stay hands-on: support solution design, review critical implementations and document decisions and trade-offs; promote consistency and translate architectural principles into engineering standards. - Balance short-term delivery with long-term health of the product; guide modernization, reduce technical debt, and improve performance, reliability, testability, operability and developer experience. - Communicate architectural choices clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders; align decisions across Scrum teams and clusters. - Embrace AI-assisted software engineering as part of the development lifecycle.
