Biohub is seeking a creative Social Media Manager to own the strategy and day-to-day management of Biohub’s social channels across LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Facebook, Threads, and Bluesky. You will determine what belongs on which channel, for which audience, and why, while staying closely connected to the execution and cadence of posting. The role covers both campaign launches and the ongoing, always-on content that keeps our community engaged with Biohub’s work in frontier AI and biology. The role reports to the head of social and is part of the Marketing & Communications team. Responsibilities include developing channel-specific and audience-specific strategies, coordinating with cross-functional teams and agency partners, building an engine of evergreen content, supporting events and launches, and ensuring a consistent voice and brand across all social output. You’ll collaborate with analytics to measure performance and inform strategy, and you’ll partner with content producers, brand marketing partners, analytics, and other stakeholders. Qualifications include 5+ years in social media strategy, experience across multiple platforms, experience managing always-on presence, comfort with data to inform decisions, strong collaboration and communication skills, and an interest in science, technology, or mission-driven work. Compensation includes a base pay range of $138,000-$172,000 for Redwood City, CA, with bonus eligibility possible and a hybrid schedule requiring onsite presence about 60% of the time (roughly 3 days per week).
