USA Rare Earth is seeking a Site Controller to provide financial leadership over mining and manufacturing costs, inventory, and operational accounting for a public company. This role ensures financial accuracy, strengthens internal controls, supports SEC and SOX compliance, builds the financial team, and delivers strategic insights to optimize production efficiency and margins. The Site Controller serves as a key business partner to Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Executive Leadership, enabling data-driven decisions and continuous improvement across the process.

Key Responsibilities: - Own the month-end close process, reconcile all general ledger accounts, and prepare consolidated financial statements and variance reports. - Maintain the general ledger with accurate and timely transaction recording; ensure proper account coding and GAAP presentation. - Prepare variance analyses vs. budget/forecast; communicate findings to management. - Coordinate with external auditors on year-end close and provide supporting schedules. - Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, approvals, payments, collections, and credit management. - Manage bad debt reserve estimates and write-offs in accordance with GAAP. - Lead annual standard cost rolls for mining and processing operations using reserves data, estimates, and overhead allocations; ensure standard costs reflect mining conditions and recovery rates. - Develop and manage overhead absorption rates for mining ope
