BI WORLDWIDE is hiring a Senior UX Designer to join our Corporate Product Development team in a hybrid role at our Minneapolis Metro headquarters. This senior position partners with the current UX design lead, product owners, and application engineers to define and design features within our Figma design system, and is senior enough to co-lead the UX practice with a high degree of independence. Responsibilities include partnering with product owners early in the feature lifecycle to clarify problems, define scope, and shape solutions; designing engaging, intuitive, on-brand interfaces— including flows, wireframes, and prototypes—within our Figma design system that comprises three sub-systems; bridging business concepts and feasibility and guiding developers to implement designs faithfully; leading discussions among product owners, engineering, and stakeholders to optimize usability and information architecture; proactively defining and de-risking upcoming features; writing and guiding user stories and translating them into designs; leading user testing sessions and growing the UX research practice; maintaining and expanding the Figma design system and its sub-systems; championing accessibility and internationalization; working closely with our lead UX designer to align with vision while co-leading initiatives and owning your own feature areas; explaining design solutions and rationale to a wide range of stakeholders.
