Overview: We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer II to lead the development of advanced AI agent systems for agentic intelligence. Based in the United States and working remotely, you will design, develop, and maintain production-grade AI agents capable of investigating, reasoning, and acting on live observability data. In a distributed and highly collaborative engineering environment, you will own significant portions of AI capabilities and contribute to shaping how intelligent systems support engineers during critical moments.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain production-grade AI agents that can investigate, reason about, and act on live observability data.
Build trustworthy agent experiences to assist engineers during incident investigation and system troubleshooting.
Own the complete lifecycle of agent-focused projects from concepts and prototypes to scalable production systems.
Create new agent capabilities using high-cardinality data and advanced reasoning workflows to enable unique developer experiences.
Extend platform features, including agent surfaces, memory capabilities, workflows, and performance improvements.
Develop evaluation frameworks to measure agent quality, reliability, and effectiveness over time.
Collaborate with product, engineering, and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and define future AI capabilities.
Apply technical judgment to distinguish valuable AI applications from trends and translate ideas into working solutions.
