Senior Software Engineer (all genders)
Overview: Join XIBIX Solutions GmbH as a Senior Software Engineer in our backend team. You will contribute to multiple client projects using C#, .NET, Java, or other modern tech stacks, applying AI-assisted coding tools to improve efficiency.
Responsibilities
Candidate profile:
- Architect and prioritize user stories based on client projects, leveraging AI-powered coding tools.
- Design and evolve deployment strategies in agile teams, including technical leadership of developers.
- Define and evolve software interfaces; maintain API contracts.
- Communicate with clients to modernize and evolve tech stacks with a strong customer focus.
- Independently develop optimized software architecture designs.
- Manage requirements engineering and alignment with domains and stakeholders.
- Establish and share best practices for AI usage in development, testing, and documentation (e.g., pairing, internal trainings, code reviews).
- Actively shape the AI strategy in projects and evaluate new AI tools and approaches for daily development.
- Several years of backend development experience with C#, .NET, or Java, ideally across different project contexts.
- Degree in computer science or equivalent qualification.
- Deep knowledge of databases (e.g., MS SQL).
- Substantial experience with Azure Cloud or comparable clouds (AWS, STACKIT).
- Strong expertise in CI/CD processes and agile methods.
- Demonstrated experience with the sovereign and goal-oriented use of AI tools in software development, with the ability to share this knowledge with the team.
