Speechify is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Core Experiences Team. This role builds and maintains foundational services and SDKs that power Speechify’s product experience across platforms. Located in Bordeaux, France with Remote OK, you will collaborate with Product Teams to scope projects, optimize for faster feedback, and deliver cross-platform SDK solutions. You will ship cloud functions, lightweight backend services, and jobs using Kotlin, and design efficient abstractions to improve loading times and parsing. Ideal candidates think in terms of systems, move quickly, stay focused in a high-growth, remote environment, and collaborate with designers, marketers, and PMs. Preferred tech stack includes Kotlin Multiplatform (Java experience OK); prior experience with GCP is a plus.
