Queue is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to own validation, hazard traceability, and release evidence for software, firmware, and models that operate on our dispensing machines. You will build automation that demonstrates every change meets requirements, traces hazards to tests, and provides a complete evidence package for releases. Key responsibilities include: developing validation plans for software, firmware, and models on the real machine; maintaining evidence traces from requirements to tests and results; producing release evidence detailing changes, versions, tests, and exceptions; ensuring accuracy evidence with defined methods and raw data; assembling acceptance evidence for customer tests; defining and operating the test environments; collaborating with systems engineering and hardware engineering; guiding the evidence needed for a model promotion. In the first 90 days you will establish end-to-end test maps, own the model evaluation record before promotion, and deliver the acceptance evidence pack. The ideal candidate has ownership of verification or release evidence in a high-stakes system, comfort building automation in Rust, TypeScript, Python, and Bash, and strong traceability discipline. Nice-to-have: regulatory or audited industry experience, statistics for accuracy studies, advanced testing techniques, automated tests on real hardware.
