Cupid Media's partner is seeking an experienced Senior QA Engineer to own the mobile QA lifecycle for global iOS and Android apps. This fully remote role involves hands-on testing, test planning, automation, and close collaboration with Product Managers, Mobile Engineers, Backend Engineers, and Architects to ensure high-quality releases.

Responsibilities

Drive QA across mobile product development and continuous improvement of testing practices.
Define test strategies, create detailed test plans, test cases, and checklists; validate hand-offs through production deployment.
Perform functional, exploratory, regression, UI/UX, and end-to-end API testing on real devices and emulators.
Develop, maintain, and expand mobile test automation frameworks for UI and API testing; integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Automate critical user journeys, manage test data, document tests, participate in code reviews, and maintain high engineering standards.
Collaborate across disciplines to support releases, validate builds, test deep links, perform pre-release checks, and monitor production performance.
Track QA metrics such as test coverage, defect rates, and automation effectiveness.

Requirements

Strong mobile QA experience for iOS and Android with automation frameworks; solid testing methodologies.
Experience testing mobile apps on real devices and emulators; understanding of app lifecycles and release processes for App Store and Google Play.
Proficiency with debugging/monitoring tools (Proxyman, Charles, Fiddl
