Layton Construction seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead large or complex mission-critical construction projects. This role may supervise other Project Managers and is accountable for performance and on-time, on-budget delivery in accordance with Contract Documents. You will provide guidance to assigned project teams and lead efforts to deliver safe, high-quality results. Responsibilities include delivering predictable outcomes for internal teams, external teams, and customers; ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality; leading pre-construction planning, estimates, value engineering, schedule development, procurement of materials and equipment, and subcontract management; negotiating prime contracts and subcontracts; managing project costs, change orders, close-out activities, and owner relationships; and maintaining project documentation such as the Project Management Plan, schedules, and permit compliance. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field, and a minimum of eight years of project management experience in mission-critical construction.
