Hippo Insurance is seeking a seasoned Senior Product Manager to own the Insurance Products charter—the rating and pricing engine, coverage and eligibility logic, business rules, and the core infrastructure that powers how we price and structure risk. This strategic, high-impact role combines platform ownership with direct P&L responsibilities: you will set the multi-year direction for the insurance product infrastructure while driving day-to-day execution to keep Hippo’s insurance products competitive, compliant, and profitable. You will lead large-scale improvements to core infrastructural platforms and collaborate with Insurance, Legal/Compliance, Operations, and Engineering to deliver on time with clear risk mitigation and auditability. You will translate insights into crisp requirements (PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria) and partner with Engineering, Design, and Data to ship high-quality, platform-level solutions. You will define success metrics and KPIs, instrument product changes, analyze impact, and iterate.
