Senior Offensive AI Security Engineer responsible for applying offensive security and AI-driven research to surface critical risks across Zoom's products, applications, services, and infrastructure. This role combines deep target knowledge, threat analysis, and advanced AI models to generate hypotheses, validate exploitability, and trace attack paths that standard testing would miss. It is hands-on research rather than vulnerability scanning or prompt-engineering, and success is measured by how findings change Zoom's understanding of risk. You will collaborate with Security Assurance teams (Offensive Security, Vulnerability Management, Bug Bounty, PSIRT) while enjoying high autonomy and self-direction. Responsibilities include leveraging AI to identify high-impact issues, using architectural knowledge, code, and observed behavior to guide investigations; applying frontier and open-weight models, agents, and other AI capabilities across the research lifecycle: reconnaissance, code analysis, hypothesis generation, exploit development, and verification; developing custom tooling and proofs of concept or full exploits when needed; converting model outputs into defensible security evidence by reproducing findings, ruling out false claims, and distinguishing between potential weaknesses and demonstrated vulnerabilities; improving reliability of AI-driven research by addressing false positives, false negatives, context limits, nondeterminism, and reproducibility; collaborating with Engineering and Product Security to communicate findings, support remediation, surface related risks
