Scale Computing is looking for two Senior Managers, People Operations to help build a modern, scalable, high-performing People function. Each role will be the hands-on People partner for one of our US offices and a group of remote teams, owning one company-wide program: HRIS and People Data, or Talent Acquisition. The company has about 530 employees across the US, India, Canada, Brazil, and EMEA, with growth through acquisitions. This is an in-office role, five days a week, based in the Austin, TX or Indianapolis, IN offices. What you'll do: Serve as the primary People partner for managers and employees in your office (Austin and Tallahassee, or Indianapolis) and your assigned US remote teams; coach managers on performance, team structure, and difficult conversations; resolve employee relations matters up to the director level; help integrate acquired employees into Scale's People practices. Run full-cycle recruiting for technical roles; partner with hiring managers on role definitions, interview plans, and timely decisions; allocate roughly 25–50% of your time to recruiting depending on program. Deliver merit, performance, and promotion cycles using frameworks designed by the Chief People Officer; help managers make fair, consistent, and well-documented decisions. Identify opportunities to automate and streamline processes; build AI-enabled workflows and tools for employees, managers, and the People team; promote responsible AI across People Operations.
