Elastic is hiring a Senior Information Security Engineer in the Security Architecture team within InfoSec. You will own the end-to-end pipeline for security telemetry, from data source onboarding through ingest pipelines, index creation, detection, incident response, and queries by IR and consulting teams, while keeping Elastic’s clusters healthy. Responsibilities include security telemetry ingestion (cloud provider audit logs, identity and SaaS activity, endpoint and asset data) and integrating with third-party and cloud provider APIs for authentication, pagination, rate limits, and schema changes. You will manage Elastic Cloud on Kubernetes clusters, perform upgrades, capacity planning, shard management, and index lifecycle management, and enable cross-cluster search. You will use Terraform to manage cloud infrastructure and Elasticsearch resources, and Kubernetes/Helm to deploy scheduled ingest jobs. You will leverage AI automation to reduce toil, implement alerting, scripts, and investigation workflows.
