Lyft is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead a cross-functional team consisting of backend, frontend, and mobile engineers as part of the Luxury group. You will set the technical direction for the team, balance technical investments with product priorities, and communicate strategy to both the team and leadership. You will co-own product strategy with product partners, define roadmaps, and ensure timely delivery of scalable, highly available solutions that delight riders and drivers. As a manager, you will mentor engineers and engineering managers, build collaborative, inclusive teams, and drive continuous improvement in code, architecture, and processes. You will collaborate with product, data science, design, and operations, and work closely with Lyft recruiting to hire diverse talent. Requirements: 3+ years of experience managing engineering teams of 20+ people, including managers; proven ability to grow engineers and managers; strong ownership mindset and ability to deliver in cross-functional, ambiguous environments. Location: Hybrid in San Francisco, CA, United States; in-office three days per week (Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays).
