This hybrid position is based in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, United States. You will design APIs for enterprise data integration, evaluate new tools and patterns, translate customer requirements into solution designs, and collaborate with management, quality assurance, architecture, and other development teams. Responsibilities include building data processing pipelines, researching and deploying new frameworks, and providing production support. You will document technical specifications and participate in code reviews and prototyping. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of hands-on software development experience, 5+ years of experience with Scala, Python, JSON, and Web Services, 3+ years with SQL, and 2+ years with distributed systems such as Spark, Databricks, Hadoop, or Snowflake; experience with Kafka, NoSQL databases, Docker and Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (Azure preferred) is desirable. All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter Policy. The salary for this role ranges from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment.
