Senior Backend Engineer based in Aarhus, Denmark, joining Lunar’s Money Core squads to build and maintain the domestic payments platform in a hybrid setup. Lunar is a fully licensed Nordic challenger bank founded in 2015, with offices in Copenhagen, Aarhus and Stockholm.

What you will do - Take ownership of critical banking domains, develop and maintain systems that keep Lunar’s banking products running on a solid, reliable foundation - Integrate with external partners to extend and strengthen what the platform can do - Keep systems highly available and resilient, while looking for ways to improve the customer experience - Explore how AI can enhance the banking experience from idea to production - Share knowledge and help colleagues grow in a diverse, cross-functional environment

What we’re looking for - 4+ years of professional backend engineering experience, with a background in distributed systems and event-driven architecture - A collaborative team player who communicates clearly - Experience with Golang is a big plus; training to get up to speed will be provided - Financial or trading experience is a bonus, not required
