Security Controller BAE Systems is seeking a Site Security Controller to lead the hands-on delivery of security governance and protective practices across Naval Ships programmes, ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements. You will work with diverse internal teams, operational staff and external partners to create a secure and collaborative environment. As the security subject matter expert, you will assess risks, shape mitigation plans and support their implementation to safeguard people, assets and information. Your work enables complex Naval Ship projects to be delivered securely and confidently. Core duties: - Serve as the security point of contact for allocated sites and facilities - Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure that customers and company security requirements are met - Deliver Security Risk Management to address and reduce risks to an acceptable level - Maintain overall contractual responsibility for the security management of government-classified assets and information - Respond promptly to security incidents to minimise damage

Essential Skills: - Knowledge of GovS 007: Security, Joint Service Publications and Information Assurance Standards - Ability to assess and report on security measures, ensuring policies stay current and robust - Experience in Defence or another regulated industry is desirable
