For an internationally operating and forward-looking company in the pharmaceutical industry, we are seeking a Financial Analyst (m/f/d) / Controller (m/f/d) in full time at the Düsseldorf location. Responsibilities
Qualifications:
- Prepare actual-to-budget comparisons and analyze the achievement of budgets and company targets.
- Build business cases and assess their economic impact.
- Support the finance accounting with monthly closings and annual closings.
- Contribute to budgeting and the creation of forecasts, including plausibility checks.
- Produce meaningful management presentations and present financial KPIs in an understandable format.
- Continuously develop existing controlling instruments, analytic methods, and reporting structures.
- Perform ad-hoc analyses and short-term business evaluations.
- Work closely with local departments and relevant interfaces within the company.
- A successfully completed degree in economics with focus on Sales Controlling, Accounting, Auditing, or an equivalent qualification.
- At least one to two years of professional experience in finance, controlling or FP&A.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel (incl. Pivot Tables) and PowerPoint.
