This on-site internship is based in Mountain View, California. You will join Rhoda AI as a Robot Software Engineer Intern to work on the software platform that keeps our robots running, covering onboard software, networking infrastructure, data pipelines, telemetry, teleoperation, inference infrastructure, and developer tooling. You’ll collaborate with ML, perception, and control engineers to keep onboard systems reliable, debug across layers from drivers to applications, and help bring up and field-test software on live hardware. Responsibilities include building networking and communication infrastructure, developing data pipelines that capture sensor and behavioral data for model training, building telemetry and observability tools, and shipping internal tooling that accelerates robot software development. We’re looking for candidates pursuing or recently graduated with degrees in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or related fields, who have strong programming skills in C++, Python, Golang, or Rust and enjoy hands-on work with hardware.
