Role overview: You will be based on-site in Stade, Lower Saxony, Germany, and provide technical support under a service contract for mechanical seals. You will analyze, diagnose and resolve technical faults and perform root-cause analyses. You will develop and implement measures to increase plant availability and to reduce downtime and operating costs. You will advise customers on the selection, application and standardization of seal and plant technology. You will identify optimization and savings potential through plant analyses and condition assessments. You will produce technical reports, presentations and recommendations for customers and management. You will train and advise customer staff. You will work closely with the customer's points of contact and with internal departments.

Qualifications: - Degree in mechanical engineering, process engineering (B.Sc./M.Sc.) or equivalent - Experience in technical service, maintenance, application engineering or technical sales of rotating equipment - Strong analytical and fault-diagnosis skills - High customer orientation and ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders - Strong communication skills
