We are seeking a talented Qlik Data Engineer (Mid-level) to support remote projects and play a pivotal role in Executive Order initiatives. This high-impact role focuses on enhancing a centralized data environment (CDE) that delivers auditable financial transaction data, improves transparency and accountability across DoW, and builds a robust common operating picture for senior leadership decision-making. Successful candidates are proficient Python developers with strong SQL skills, hands-on experience with Qlik Sense/QlikView, and the ability to translate strategic imperatives into data and Qlik-based solutions to ensure timely delivery to stakeholders in a national security environment. Essential responsibilities include designing data architectures, modeling, and governance; developing Python-based ETL/ELT pipelines; optimizing data models and performance; and collaborating with analysts and stakeholders. The Qlik Data Engineer will design, build, and maintain Qlik data models and ETL pipelines, integrate data from multiple sources, manage load scripts and data transformations, ensure data quality, monitor issues, and support deployment and access controls. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related fields, 2+ years of Python and SQL experience, hands-on experience with Qlik Sense/QlikView/QVD structures, and experience building ETL/ELT pipelines.
