Product Quality Engineer to join Anduril Industries’ AUV quality team in Quonset, Rhode Island. You will define, develop, and execute processes for the integration of autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs) and drive Anduril’s internal quality management system to meet AS9100 customer requirements as we scale into a new facility. You will partner across the product development organization, production teams, and field operations to implement world-class quality processes for AUV integration and subsystem performance.
Responsibilities include: collaborating with manufacturing engineering, production, and development engineers to support the quality of the integration process for components such as underwater sensors, PCBs, cables, wiring harnesses, actuators, machined parts, and structures; conducting audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards; defining and implementing inspection systems; working cross-functionally to define build and inspection requirements to meet customer quality expectations; leading non-conformance (NCR) and corrective action (RCCA) processes for integration; supporting the Material Review Board and prototype/production containments; and maintaining quality documentation and metrics.
Required qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field; experience in engineering, manufacturing, or quality in complex assembly and production; working knowledge of quality management in defense or other highly regulated environments (AS9100, etc.); experience driving product quality and performance requirements for
