Marine Electrical Controls & Automation Engineer Travel: Up to 95%
Overview TMMG is seeking an experienced Marine Electrical Controls & Automation Engineer to support an expanding vessel new-construction program in the United States. This hands-on engineering role focuses on the design, integration, construction, commissioning, and testing of highly automated marine vessels and their machinery-control systems. The successful candidate will collaborate with engineering, production, software, test, commissioning, and vendor teams to take shipboard systems from requirements through installation, controls integration, testing, and final operation. Expertise in machinery controls, PLCs, automation, and electrical integration is essential, with Siemens SIMATIC PLCs and TIA Portal experience highly desired. This is not primarily a desk-based electrical design role; the engineer must be comfortable working aboard vessels under construction and troubleshooting at the deck-plate level.
