Led by AI experts from Tesla and Apple, we are a small but passionate team building a category-leading consumer product and pushing the limits of what’s possible on a mobile device. We are seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to join our team in Berkeley, CA to contribute to the entire machine learning lifecycle—from research and training to testing and deployment—driving the computer vision capabilities powering our app. Responsibilities include designing and developing machine learning models and algorithms, contributing to data collection, cleaning, and preprocessing tasks, supporting deployment and monitoring, and participating in team discussions to share innovative ideas. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, a basic understanding of machine learning principles, and proficiency with Python and libraries such as PyTorch and TensorFlow. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential; familiarity with Swift and Apple's Core ML is a plus. Preferred: experience in a Series A or similar high-growth environment (team size under 50); deep expertise in Python, PyTorch, Swift, and Core ML; MS or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics or a related field; background in sports analytics, kinematics, or racket sports mechanics.
