Alfa Laval Mid Europe is seeking an Inside Sales professional to join our Service Sales team for Food & Pharma in the area of separation technology in Hamburg, Germany. This commercial-technical role sells services and products, supports Food & Pharma customers, and provides technical guidance to develop tailored solutions based on customer needs. You will create individual offers, track proposals, negotiate terms, and nurture existing customer relationships while proactively managing your sales territory, including occasional customer visits. You will plan, coordinate, and execute appointments and activities to achieve sales targets, follow up on leads, conduct potential analyses, and use our CRM system to capture and maintain customer data and generate reports. You will collaborate closely with the Service Team, Order Management, New Sales, and international colleagues, and correspond with supplier plants and service centers in English. Requirements include a degree and/or commercial training with a technical background, experience selling complex technical products, knowledge of separation and control technology is desirable, and an interest in digital service solutions. You should have strong communication and persuasive skills, excellent customer service orientation, initiative, and goal-oriented work style, as well as proficiency with MS Office 365 and CRM systems.
