Pyrotek is seeking an HR Business Partner – Benefits & Leave to manage the administration of employee benefits and leave programs for the United States, with a hybrid work arrangement based near Aurora, Ohio. The role supports the Corporate Office and partners with the U.S. Human Resources Team to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to HR, training, and related areas. Responsibilities include coordinating benefit programs (medical, dental, vision, life, disability), analyzing policies and practices and recommending changes to HR leadership, producing employee communications (letters, FAQs, benefit booklets, presentations, orientations), managing leave entitlements (FMLA, STD, LTD LOAs), ensuring compliance with applicable laws (ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA) and completing IRS/ACA census, audits and reporting, evaluating self-insured medical plan costs and proposing cost-containment ideas, advising employees on eligibility and related matters, and supporting fellow HR Partners as needed.
