Konecranes is seeking a talented HMI UX Designer to shape the future of human-machine interaction in port equipment and systems. You will design intuitive interfaces for real-world industrial environments as part of a global design team. Focus areas include UX design for HMI products, user research, usability testing, and cross-functional collaboration with developers, product managers, and other designers. Responsibilities include designing and developing user interfaces for HMI systems; conducting user and customer research to gather insights and validate concepts; creating user stories, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups; maintaining HMI designs in the Figma design system; iterating designs based on stakeholder feedback; and ensuring accessibility and UX harmonization in line with industry standards. Qualifications include 2–4 years of UX design experience with a strong portfolio, experience in industrial HMI, embedded UI, automotive, or similar domains, proficiency in Figma and Adobe, knowledge of user-centered design and Agile methodologies, and familiarity with Qt or similar technologies as a plus. Experience using AI tools in the design process is a plus. Strong English communication skills, a Master’s degree in UX design or related field, and the ability to work independently and in international teams are required. Willingness to travel is preferred.
