Compass Government Solutions is seeking a Healthcare & Physician Recruiter to recruit physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, allied health professionals, and other healthcare personnel to support government healthcare programs. This on-site role is based in Annapolis, Maryland and reports to the Vice President and Chief Executive Officer; you will execute established recruitment priorities and sourcing initiatives for current and anticipated staffing needs.
Responsibilities include screening candidates, explaining position and contract requirements, preparing applicants for interviews, maintaining regular communication, and guiding candidates through each stage of the hiring process. The ideal candidate has demonstrated success recruiting physicians and other healthcare professionals and understands licensure, credentialing, compensation expectations, geographic limitations, and government contract requirements.
Key duties: - Recruit physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, allied health professionals, and other healthcare personnel in line with company priorities. - Source qualified candidates through job boards, professional networks, referrals, direct outreach, healthcare associations, and other channels. - Build and maintain candidate pipelines for current openings and anticipated government contract staffing needs. - Review applications and conduct initial screenings to assess clinical experience, education, licensure, certifications, availability, compensation expectations, and interest. - Coordinate interviews and communicate candidate information
