DensityAI is seeking a Hardware Test Engineer to own the test strategy for AI accelerator hardware from packaged units to boards and full systems. You will develop test setups, fixtures, and test coverage to catch issues early and enable high-volume shipping. You will operate at the interface of silicon/packaging and system-level integration, defining test specs across package, board, and system levels, and driving yield, test time, and cost reductions throughout the product lifecycle. Responsibilities include designing and executing package-level tests (socket-based bring-up, power-up, interconnect checks, and functional/parametric validation), board-level tests (functional, boundary-scan/JTAG, in-circuit, bring-up), and system-level tests (bring-up and validation against spec, including functional, stress, and burn-in). You will design test hardware and fixtures (sockets, load boards, fixtures) for high-speed/high-current tests, lead new-product test bring-up, resolve escapes and failures with data-driven root cause analysis, perform cross-level characterization, define test specs and guardbands, and coordinate test programs with OSAT/CM partners and manufacturing.
