The role involves designing, building, deploying, troubleshooting, and maintaining digital applications and automation workflows in a federal environment. Candidates with a traditional software development background are encouraged to apply. Experience with Microsoft Power Platform is preferred; however, strong fundamentals in computer science and hands-on development experience in Java, C#, Python, .NET, JavaScript, or similar technologies will be considered. Solutions will be delivered using Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Fx, SQL, and related Microsoft technologies. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field is required. Responsibilities include hands-on software development, application development, automation development, and data-driven applications. The candidate should be proficient with databases, APIs, data transformation, and creating clear documentation. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel is expected. The role requires hybrid work with on-site presence in the Washington, DC area as mission needs evolve; a DoD Top Secret clearance is preferred, or an active CBP/ICE Public Trust with suitability.
