Financial Analyst II – Finance & Risk Management. Location: Hybrid, Tucson, Arizona (in-office with telecommuting up to two days per week after probation). Pima County's Finance & Risk Management Department seeks a skilled professional to support the Treasury & Capital Improvement Program (CIP) Division. The Analyst II will assist in creating, modifying, and closing CIP projects; review reports for accuracy; and analyze financial data using Excel formulas and pivot tables. Responsibilities include supporting revenue and expenditure forecasting, monitoring contracts, preparing Countywide and departmental budget requests and CIP documentation, and assisting with CIP budget proposals and oversight of Community Facilities Districts. The role involves collaboration with CIP staff across departments. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, business, or public administration, plus one year of related professional experience (a master’s degree or CPA designation may substitute for one year). Relevant experience in government accounting, budgeting, or capital programs is preferred. Reasonable success in Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) and ability to work with large data sets is desirable.
