The analyst will review, analyze, and report on statistical Pari-Mutuel, Gaming, and Food and Beverage trends, and provide comprehensive analyses of promotions, events, and entertainment. Responsibilities include generating periodic analytical reports to support premium and promotional days as well as weekly, monthly, and quarterly business operations; performing comprehensive analyses of promotions, campaigns, and database performance; tracking daily Pari-Mutuel, Card Casino, Food and Beverage attendance, FTE, and other data points for daily reporting; conducting daily escrow analyses for Pari-Mutuel operations; overseeing the collection and reporting of Source Market Fees related to Canterbury Park’s contracts with Advance Deposit Wagering companies; ensuring Pari-Mutuel reporting is completed accurately on a daily basis; evaluating processes and procedures to improve efficiency; analyzing data to identify trends for use in budgets and forecasts; providing user support on various business applications; conducting demographic analyses to understand market changes and inform recommendations; developing and preparing ad hoc financial and business analytics on revenue and expense areas, return on investment analyses, and other projects; assisting in developing quarterly forecasts; and other duties as assigned.
