Chewy is seeking an Environmental Program Manager (EPM) to support the Chewy Fulfillment Network. The EPM will develop and align environmental standards and policies to ensure regulatory compliance and provide environmental guidance for fulfillment operations and construction teams. The role will involve environmental performance analysis, establishing and monitoring metrics, and guiding teams in implementing Chewy’s environmental standards. This hands-on position includes on-site duties such as inspections and audits, sampling, proper waste classification, and collaboration with contractors, consultants, design, and operations. You will work with internal and external partners, including regulatory agencies, contractors, and multiple departments to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental requirements and Chewy standards. Responsibilities include managing local, state, and federal regulations; developing strategic programs by integrating with engineering, construction, and operations; fostering an environmentally responsible culture; and acting as a subject-matter expert for regulatory interactions, permit evaluations, and new processes and technologies. You will represent Chewy in interactions with governmental agencies and coordinate with site EHS teams to implement environmental requirements consistently. Travel up to 50% may be required.
