Medical Diagnostic Laboratories (MDL), a member of Genesis Global Group, is seeking an Entry Level Account Manager to join our sales team in Chicago, Illinois. This on-site role manages a large client base of existing customers and serves as a liaison between management and clients to resolve issues. You will grow client base revenues by presenting new test information, upselling, and identifying additional revenue opportunities within existing accounts. You will establish positive long-term client relationships, educate and train clients, research problems, and coordinate solutions between the laboratory and the client. You will work closely with the Senior Sales Executive and Regional Manager to identify client concerns and help develop and implement client retention strategies. You will monitor, evaluate, and report client satisfaction and recommend corrective actions as needed. You will maintain knowledge of competitors in the assigned territory and travel as required within the coverage area, occasionally nationwide. Requirements: 1–3 years of customer service experience; strong multitasking, organizational, and detail orientation; energy, motivation, integrity, and excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to travel; computer proficiency in MS Office, Excel, email, and internet; knowledge of laboratory testing and competing products.
