Enterprise Solutions Architect — Department of Technology, City and County of San Francisco. This is a hybrid role based in San Francisco, CA, with on-site work at the Department of Technology offices as needed. The Enterprise Solutions Architect is a senior technical leader responsible for defining, governing, and advancing the City’s application and integration architecture, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, cost-effective, and aligned with Citywide business objectives and compliance requirements. The Architect balances strategic direction with hands-on execution, establishing architectural standards, designing enterprise-grade solutions, and mentoring development teams. Responsibilities include defining enterprise architecture standards for applications, integrations, data, cloud, and security; leading architecture reviews; developing long-range roadmaps for modernization and digital transformation; evaluating SaaS, PaaS, and custom-built solutions; overseeing complex multi-system integrations (CRM, ERP, Power Platform, case management, analytics); championing responsible AI-adoption and integrating AI-powered tools; promoting cloud-native design, DevOps practices, CI/CD, and automated monitoring; collaborating with IT leadership, cybersecurity, data governance, and city departments to deliver measurable value; and mentoring technical staff. Qualifications include an associate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent with substitution options) and five years of enterprise architecture or technical leadership experience plus two ye
