Roku is seeking an Engineering Manager for Ad Serving to lead the Ad Mediation, Supply-Side, and Demand-Side platforms that power Roku's advertising monetization. This hybrid role is based in Boston, Massachusetts. You will define and drive a multi-year technical strategy, take end-to-end ownership of the scalability, stability, and performance of Roku's ad-serving systems, and shape product direction through a deep understanding of advertising markets and monetization. You will lead and grow high-performing engineering teams, hire and retain top talent, and streamline development workflows to improve developer productivity. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience architecting large distributed systems, a proven track record of leading senior and staff-plus engineers, excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, and a demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional initiatives. Experience with AI-first thinking and familiarity with advertising is a plus.
