Perk is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, build, and scale the infrastructure and tools that empower developers to deliver reliable, secure, and high-performing services. Based in Boston, this hybrid role sits on the Platform team and partners with SRE and security to ensure resilient applications and smooth incident response. Responsibilities include designing and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure in AWS, enabling developers to own their systems, and participating in on-call and incident management. Requirements: 3+ years of hands-on AWS experience (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, etc.), strong IaC skills (Terraform, Pulumi), solid CI/CD experience (GitHub Actions, CircleCI), monitoring/observability tools (Datadog, CloudWatch), containerization and orchestration (Docker, ECS), proficiency in at least one language (Python, Go, or Bash), and strong problem solving. Nice-to-haves: Windows/.NET, serverless architectures, advanced cloud networking, and familiarity with security/compliance frameworks like SOC2/ISO 27001.
