Version 1 is seeking a Delivery Manager to lead large, complex, multi-workstream cloud transformation programs for AWS ProServe in the Public Sector. The role requires a seasoned Agile leader who can establish scaled Agile practices, mentor teams, and drive strategic outcomes with the ability to influence at executive levels.
Responsibilities include: designing and implementing scaled Agile frameworks for large engagements; establishing program-level ceremonies; coaching engagement managers and team leads; managing dependencies; establishing Agile Centers of Excellence; governance and reporting for executives; rescuing distressed programs; and driving continuous improvement. You will lead strategic program leadership, including development of delivery strategies using Agile, SAFe, DevOps, Cloud Adoption; leading cross-geography teams; negotiating scope and timelines; and applying change management principles to enable transformation.
Executive communication: present program status, risks, and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders; influence AWS leadership. Technical leadership: oversee complex AWS architectures; guide trade-offs; participate in architectural reviews; influence service roadmaps. Process and mentorship: create cross-team processes; mentor Associate and Staff Engagement Managers; share best practices across the AWS ProServe portfolio.
Qualifications: 7+ years in complex technical program delivery; proven experience implementing scaled Agile frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, or similar); track record rescuing distressed programs; ability to lead customers t
