The Golden State Warriors are seeking a Data Scientist to join our growing multidisciplinary team. In this role, you will contribute to research, predictive modeling, and long-term decision making to support Basketball Operations stakeholders, and you will collaborate with data engineering to deploy and monitor your work. This position reports to the SVP Basketball, Analytics and Innovation. This is a full-time remote position. Key Responsibilities: Develop, deploy, and monitor predictive models; Build features for predictive models; Partner with data analysts to integrate results into decision making; Analyze large data sets to identify trends; Maintain awareness of the current state of data science and basketball analytics; Other duties as assigned. Required Experience & Skills: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent work experience; 4+ years of experience with data analytics; Extensive experience with Python; Advanced knowledge of predictive modeling with libraries such as Keras, scikit-learn, XGBoost, PyMC3; Experience with SQL and relational databases; Experience working in cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure); Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Git; Experience with scalable ETL/ELT, and operating predictive models in production is a plus; Experience with distributed computing and streaming frameworks is a plus; Ability to build positive working relationships with clients and peers at all levels; Excellent written and verbal communication; strong presentation skills with the ability to influence both technical and non-t
