We are looking for a Data and AI Engineer to build the data backbone: developing robust pipelines that process medical billing data from diverse practice management systems and applying AI where it delivers real value—through analysis, automation, and optimization of billing. You will join a small, highly motivated team and take on responsibility from day one, collaborating with experienced colleagues (former McKinsey, BCG). Our developers typically bring 5+ years of experience, and you will work with them on meaningful topics.

What you’ll do: - Develop and operate robust data pipelines for processing medical billing and practice data - Integrate and prepare data from various practice management systems - Develop and deploy AI/ML models to analyze, automate, and optimize billing processes - Build clean data models and ensure data quality and integrity - Collaborate with Product and real practices to bring data-driven features from idea to live deployment - Contribute to our Data and AI architecture and technical decisions
What you bring: - Experience in data engineering and/or ML/AI, whether newly started or with several years of experience - Proficiency in Python and SQL, and familiarity with databases - Experience building ETL/ELT data pipelines and handling large data sets - Experience with ML frameworks and/or LLMs is a plus - Self-driven, proactive, and willing to take responsibility - Interest in diving into a complex domain (medical bil
